As Greenstep continues its growth journey we are now looking for a Senior Security Officer to work as a Business Information Security Officer to join our team. Your expertise will be essential in safeguarding Greenstep´s and our customers´ information assets and ensuring the integrity of our operations, which includes e.g. accounting, payroll, CFO, and analytics as services.

As a Business Information Security Officer, you will create value through our operating model and effective and secure IT infrastructure; you will support the different business areas in their ways of working with information security. You will be a single point of contact for all our business lines regarding information security issues and improvements. Through your systematic and persistent way of working, we can develop information security in all our different operations throughout Greenstep located in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, the UK, and the Netherlands! You will be a part of our Information Security Management System Team and work closely with our Chief Information Security Officer and IT manager as well as with Compliance and Development teams.

Your main responsibilities

• Enable 1. line in understanding, identifying, managing, and monitoring information security risks and requirements, as well as translating and advising on how risks can impact business.
• Support Greenstep business and city leads to understand how information security threats affect their businesses, and how they should consider protecting important issues in different business lines when providing consultancy services.
• Implement information security best practices and frameworks and monitor framework efficiency. You will ensure that the new ways of working, and guidelines will be practiced and constantly developed as needed in different business areas.
• Help in educating all Greenstep people on information security matters and take ownership of Greenstep's Information Security Management System, which is based on the ISO 27001:2022 standard.

Our BISO will be the main contact for Greenstep customers on information security matters. You will be working closely with a team of IT, development, and compliance colleagues!

Your experience and background:

• You have comprehensive information security experience. Former experience in a similar role or project manager role in this field is seen as an advantage.
• You are comfortable with policies and frameworks, but still your main focus is on getting business done securely.
• Bachelor's degree or higher completed degree in any of the related sciences is relevant (e.g. Technology, Information Technology, Information Security). We will also be eager to hear about you if you have extensive experience in information security, but you might have a more versatile background when it comes to your former education!
• Fluent communication skills in English, and other language skills, especially with Nordic languages are seen as an advantage.

You can come from a compliance, technical, or business background – the most important thing is the interest and excitement on security topics. In this role, you will need to be able to juggle many topics and activities at the same time. We hope that you have great communication skills and that you consider yourself a people person, you will be working in close cooperation with different business leads and the key to your success is expressing the information security concepts and developments in an approachable way.
