We are now seeking a Country Business Controller to our HQ in Helsinki to join our team on the journey ahead.
We are seeking an experienced leader who can provide guidance that enhances performance while supporting the company’s vision and culture. This includes responsibility for team performance, hiring, coaching, retention, and engagement. As Country Business Controller at Aimo Park, you will serve as a Staff Manager with overall responsibility for the Finnish finance team, as well as for all business intelligence within the company.
This role allows you to bring your perspectives and expertise to the forefront, with responsibility for designing and implementing business plans and strategies to support goal attainment, and for analyzing results to ensure productivity and strong business performance. In addition to day‑to‑day operational work, you will play an active role in developing business management goals and objectives that support growth and long‑term success.

As a Country Business Controller, you will
Lead financial planning and control, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and monthly P&L analysis with recommended actions.
Own KPIs and targets, including Aimo Park Finland’s P&L budget targets, accurate KPI reporting, and monitoring of New Business targets.
Analyze business performance, evaluating productivity, results, and trends to support data‑driven decision‑making.
Drive business management development, setting and following up on goals that support growth and profitability.
Deliver comprehensive business analysis, including monthly reviews, P&L commentary, KPI booking, pipeline insights, and short‑ and long‑term revenue evaluations.
Support strategic leadership, preparing materials for group discussions and participating in extended management meetings.
Conduct market analyses, identifying trends and providing recommendations to strengthen market position.
This is a leadership role where rolling up your sleeves comes naturally. You will collaborate with the Country Director and the rest of the management team, taking ownership of developing the finance function and driving the business forward. Your background:
Master’s degree in economics or finance, preferably with a focus on accounting, financial management, or equivalent competence gained through other relevant paths.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with solid expertise in business control and financial management.
Strong understanding of best‑practice business control and how IT systems should be utilized to maximize business value.
Adequate accounting knowledge required for the role, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant financial principles.
Proven ability to apply analytical thinking and business insight to support decision‑making and drive performance.
Previous leadership experience, including responsibility for people management and team development, is seen as an advantage.
Fluency in Finnish and English; Swedish is considered an advantage.
You are an inspiring and supportive leader with excellent coaching and teamwork skills. You communicate clearly, build strong relationships, and collaborate effortlessly across the organization. With sharp analytical thinking and strong business insight, you turn data into actionable insights and understand business processes, and contribute actively to strategy development. You work independently with strong organizational and self‑leadership abilities, balancing strategic thinking with a practical, solution‑oriented approach.
