Integration Specialist/Developer, Greenstep Oy (Espoo, Turku, Vaasa, Tampere)
Greenstep is a Finland based, family-owned growth company founded in 2010, providing high-quality financial, HR, data & AI, technology, and sustainability services to support our clients’ development and long-term success. Today, we are a community of more than 800 experts across the Nordics and Europe – and growing fast!
We are now looking for a skilled Integration Specialist/Developer to join our team in Espoo, Turku, Vaasa or Tampere. We work in a hybrid-mode and spend at least 50% of working time in the office with our colleagues. You’ll be working in collaboration with our Data & Technology experts (~100 ppl).
The Role
In practice, you will:
Design and implement end-to-end integrations between ERP, CRM, financial, and operational systems.
Build and maintain pipelines on Azure native resources or on platforms such as n8n, Frends, Make, or Azure Data Factory.
Write clean, production-grade Python for orchestration, mapping, transformation logic, API wrappers, and automation scripts.
Model and query integration data in SQL across relational and cloud-native stores.
Work closely with clients to map back-office processes into scalable and dynamic automated pipelines.
Define and document data contracts, schemas, and API standards.
Participate in technical pre-sales, estimations, and solution design.
Contribute to internal tooling, reusable templates, and integration best practices.
Requirements
2+ years experience in an integration, data engineering, or backend developer role working with E2E pipelines. Consulting background is a plus.
AI & Agents should be very close to your heart, and you are not afraid to utilize these.
Hands-on experience with at least one iPaaS or integration platform (n8n, Frends, Make, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Zapier, or equivalent).
Solid Python skills. You're comfortable writing async code, working with REST APIs, and handling error cases gracefully.
Solid experience with version control and it's best practices.
Capable with Azure cloud fundamentals: storage, networking, managed identities, Key Vault
Understanding of basic back-office processes such as accounting, invoicing & time tracking flows (purchase orders, invoice matching, GL entries & their generation, and reconciliation logic).
Experience with common back-office systems & their APIs: Business Central, Netvisor, Procountor, Fortnox, Tripletex, Odoo, Severa or similar.
Comfort with REST and SOAP APIs, OAuth/API key auth, and webhook patterns.
Security-conscious mindset — credential handling, least-privilege, data encryption at rest and in transit.
Nice to have
You have experience working with event-driven architectures such as Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, or similar technologies, and you are familiar with EDI standards including EDIFACT, XML invoicing, Finvoice, and Peppol. You also have hands-on experience with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes or AKS, and you are familiar with modern data platforms and patterns such as Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse architectures, or the Delta format.
