We are looking for a domain expert, who knows accounting and bookkeeping inside and out, ideally from real hands-on experience, and is ready to use that knowledge to drive change! You are not the type who accepts "this is how it has always been done." You see the inefficiencies, you have ideas, and you want to do something about them. In this role, you will be a key driver of innovation, shaping the direction of how accounting processes evolve in the age of automation and AI.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and in Finnish.

• Deep knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes.

• Comfort with technology, how systems connect, integrate, and migrate data.

• A strong interest in AI potentials and automation and what they mean for the accounting sector.

• An eye for user experience and what makes a product easy and intuitive to use.

• The ability to work closely with designers and developers and communicate clearly across teams.

• The ability to explain and document processes clearly for a skilled development team.

The Role

In practice, you will:

• Lead innovation efforts by identifying inefficiencies in current accounting workflows and proposing better approaches.

• Collaborate with product, design, and development teams to turn ideas into reality.

• Evaluate and map integrations and migrations between accounting tools and platforms.

• Stay on top of trends in fintech, automation, and AI as they relate to accounting.

• Document and communicate domain processes clearly so technical teams can build with confidence.

• Be the domain voice and innovation lead in a team that is building for the future of the sector.

We provide the full spectrum of financial services, from accounting to interim CFOs for some of the fastest growing companies in Finland as well as all over the Nordics. Everyone works closely together, meaning you will be working with other CFO’s, Accountants, Payroll Specialists, HR specialists, Systems and Integrations Specialists, but most importantly, with great customers.

With our hybrid work model, we are at least 50% of the work time at the office with our colleagues.  Since a large part of our team is based in Espoo, this role is for our Espoo office.
