Your key responsibilities as Finance Director

The Finance Director will have overall responsibility for the financial management of the parent company and its subsidiaries, including,

Financial Oversight

• Manage accounting, financial reporting, liquidity management, investment calculations, and auditing.
• Ensure group financial closing responsibilities and serve as a sounding board for financial closings.

Investment and Sustainability Reporting

• Oversee financing and investment reporting for the group.
• Manage sustainability reporting initiatives.

Strategic Financial Management

• Develop and communicate owner-strategic board reporting principles.
• Assess the group's results, cash flows, balance sheets, and indebtedness.
• Coordinate auditing and taxation efforts.

Advisory Role

• Act as a strategic and financial advisor to the Managing Director, colleagues, and owners, particularly in asset management and M&A matters.
• Participate in owner-strategic decisions regarding financial management across all affiliated companies.

We are seeking an experienced individual ready to step into a Holding Company leadership role.

An ideal background that will help you to succeed in this position

• Experience: You have solid experience in financial management at the group level. Most ideally, you have a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in similar roles.
• Leadership Skills: You are an approachable and team-oriented person. With your capability and enthusiasm, you will adeptly navigate corporate dynamics, engage in impactful discussions, and establish yourself as a respected authority within the organization.
• Experience working with the board of directors and company management teams. You have the ability to produce value-added insights to support the board's decision-making.
• Mathematical competencies: You have excellent mathematical ability and proficiency in preparing financial calculations, statements, and graphical summaries.
• Discretion and reliability: You possess the ability to make thoughtful decisions and act judiciously in sensitive situations, demonstrating strong judgment and sensitivity in handling delicate matters.
• Education: Degree in finance.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Swedish, Finnish, and English. All three languages are essential for our daily operations.

We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in establishing and maintaining strategic board reporting principles and guidance. You are skilled at managing your own responsibilities while effectively collaborating with subsidiaries to develop and implement best practices throughout the organization. We are seeking a finance-focused individual who can serve as an authority in the field while also being hands-on and enjoying practical involvement in financial operations.
