Experienced Consultant (IT Director/Manager), CIO Services - Finland
As we are growing our CIO services practice, we are looking for an experienced IT Director/Manager to join our team as a consultant.
Greenstep serves a very large number of growth companies of various sizes as a trusted advisor, and increasingly we are asked to provide help in IT management related topics. Often our customer does not have the ability to have tech-focused expertise in-house or have temporary needs to help with growing and improving their business with technology. This means that our consulting projects can include serving as an interim or part time CIO/IT manager or supporting on development projects in topics ranging from system implementation to cybersecurity.
Key responsibilities
Independently conduct/lead client engagements on various IT management related topics such as interim work or project leadership.
Client engagement: actively take part in client development and support in sales activities.
Develop Greenstep's CIO services using your expertise and experience actively.
Our CIO team works with a variety of interesting clients on a variety of projects, flexibly remotely from Greenstep offices or at client locations. We currently have team members in Espoo, Oulu and Turku, but we welcome new experts from all around Finland. Due to growing demand, we are now looking for a new experienced IT leader to join us to build our business even further.
Requirements:
For this role, we are especially looking for people who have been there and done that, so in-house experience in IT leadership roles is a requirement, preferably from company level CIO/IT manager role, but other backgrounds will be considered as well.
Wide hands-on background in IT topics with 10+ years of experience and a proven track record of achievements in IT management.
You are well up to date with modern technology landscape and how to build successful IT solutions and operations. What you do not know, you will find out.
Ability to independently conduct customer projects successfully in a fast-paced growth company's customer base. You need to be able to do both hands-on nitty-gritty work, as well as more strategic thinking.
Experience in implementing ERP and/or modern data solutions
Solid understanding of cybersecurity and previous experience from similar consulting roles are an asset.
Working proficiency in Finnish and in English.
